This week’s Newday company spotlight is Ulta Beauty Inc. (NASDAQ: ULTA), a chain of beauty stores carrying cosmetics and skincare brands, men’s and women’s fragrances, nail products, bath and body products, beauty tools and haircare products. Today we’re focusing on Ulta’s partnership with Allure magazine called ‘See Yourself, See Each Other’, which focuses on beauty as a tool for self-empowerment and realization of gender identity.
Allure and Ulta launched this collaboration to drive inclusive conversation about beauty norms. The project is centered around contributions from a diverse community, providing a series of narratives discussing hair, skin, identity, body positivity and representation. The goal of the collaboration is to create a more empathetic and accepting world by breaking down the barriers of traditionally limiting beauty standards and to promote acceptance of a wider range of identities.
